Prayer of Salvation
The truth is, Jesus loved you before you even knew who He was. God created the earth with all of its creations and declared it as good. Satan, the angel that fell from heaven, convinced Eve and Adam to disobey God’s command thus bringing sin into the world and corrupting mankind. Years later, God sent His Son to die on the cross for you and I to bear the punishment that we deserved as sinful humans. He defeated hell, death, and the grave when He resurrected on the third day before ascending into heaven and leaving His Spirit to dwell among and within us, reconciling our sinful flesh with our Holy God. He did it not because He had to, but because He loves you. Accept Him into your heart and I promise you will never be the same.
Read this prayer out loud:
“Lord God, I come before You today in surrender and repentance. I admit that I am a sinner in need of a savior. Your word says that if I declare with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. Thank You for sending Your one and only Son to die on the cross for my sins. I give my heart and my life to you, Jesus. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. I turn from my sinful ways and accept the path that You have for me. Lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank You for saving me, thank You for loving me. From this day forward, I am Yours and You are mine. Amen.”
